Glen Coe topographic contour art

Glen Coe

Scottish Highlands, UK

The glen of weeping — a glacial valley carved between volcanic ridges where the Three Sisters of Bidean nam Bian tower over the River Coe. Site of the 1692 massacre, its contour lines trace the U-shaped valley floor rising to knife-edge arêtes at over 1,100m. The most dramatically sculpted glen in the British Isles.
